Daisy Silva

Being an aunt at eight years old exposed me to caring and playing with children of all ages and increased my passion of working with children. They are filled with creativity and curiosity that fills my day with joy! I have been interacting with kids from babysitting to tutoring them for a long time, and I love watching each child grow individually throughout my time with them. KOOP was a perfect match for me because I knew I would continue seeing growth and play within these children.  I've now been with KOOP over a year and always look forward to my time playworking.

I graduated in 2019 from UIUC majoring in Social Work with a minor in Latinx Studies. I plan on continuing my education by getting a Master's in Social Work beginning in 2020!
